Key Qualifications & Requirements

• The personnel (Skilled Diesel Generator Technician / Mechanic for Diesel Generator (Electrical /& Mechanical). shall meet the following minimum requirement :
• Diploma / Graduate in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering (full time course) with at least 5yrs. relevant experience in Electrical Distribution System / Diesel Generator Sets.
• Must have good knowledge and experience in installation, operation and maintenance of Diesel Generator Sets
• Must have good knowledge and experience in the maintenance/ repair/replacement of engine & its start control system and/or alternators, control system, wiring, lighting system or fixtures.
• Must have good knowledge and experience in overhauling various types and sizes of engines and/or alternator& other electrical equipment.
• Can read technical diagrams and workshop manuals, as well as troubleshoot/diagnose mechanical and/or electrical issues in Generator Sets using appropriate testing devices.
• Able to inspect Generator parameters and other components
• Can run diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpret the results to offer suitable solutions. For Electrical Technician, able to perform corrective maintenance of Circuit breakers
